    Sale Question

I had a deal all hammered out that hinged on my ability to get my fed ex certification. I last talked to the person on the 9th and have been unable to get back in touch with them since after multiple attempts. When would it be ok for me to start advertising the snakes for sale again?

    Re: Sale Question

My guess would be after a week they have changed their mind about the sale. I would say you are safe to put it back on the market. If the potential buyer sees it back on the market it may trigger them into going ahead and getting it. That has happened to me...

If you're not hurting to sell the animal I'd say shoot them and email or voice mail and just let them know that they have "However" long and then you're going to put them back up for sale.. Assuming no money has changed hands that is.

My policy ALWAYS is, "you have 48 hours to send payment or else the deal is off". That's it for me. If we email on Monday and I send you payment information for the animal, you have all day Tuesday and all day Wednesday to send the payment. If I wake up Thursday morning and there is no payment there the snake goes back on the market.

People will jerk your chain all the time. It stinks, but it happens. You have to protect yourself and your money. If they come through with payment before the animal sells to someone else then by all means sell it to them, but don't sit on your hands hoping that they come though.

I have sent a few pm's and attempted to contact them via phone and left a voice mail...no return contact

I would normally do the same, however, since this deal hinged on me getting my certification, I do feel some obligation to them for being so patient with me while I was doing that.
