    2 More Beautiful Rescues!!

Got these 2 from a guy who met me with both snakes on his wrists as he was driving down the road. I don't really know what he thought doing so, but they were freezing when i looked at them. The rescue almost didn't happen, but when you get that " I DO NOT want to leave them in HIS CARE!!!"....Well you know.. So i took them home and already had the tubs waiting and warm. Both of them immediately went into their hides and i put them both in 41 quart tubs. They also weighed in a 1000 grams for the darker one and 1060 grams for the lighter one.

I just probed both tonight and the lighter one which i LOVE turned out to be a female!!!!! The other one is a male and i might have a home setup for him in the future! Enjoy the pictures!

Nice looking rescues. It never ceases to amaze me how people treat these animals. Good luck with them and raising them.

I knew it was bad and i had to move things quickly, since both snakes started to slow down, the tongue was flickering very slowly and they were cold to the touch. It was drizzle outside and around 50 degrees, so it's safe to say the thermometer in my car was ready 78-80 degrees on the way home.

I see no signs of RI, or other health issues. There were 2 POSSIBLE mites in the heat vents of the darker one, but all quarantine tubs are sanitized and sprayed with PAM, so it shouldn't be an issue. Also no mites are visible on the snake and these were fairly large black round objects, it's possible that its debris since they are both different in size. No mites seen in cage or anywhere around it and the owner said he never saw them, but i don't ever trust previous owners for any information. Just give me the snakes and let me on my way!!
