    New calico female.

Just picked her up from Breeder's Cirle. She is a NWE line calico. Can't wait to see her shed a couple more times. Settled in quick and ate a rat pup already today. I usually don't do photos in the bin(newspaper is so ugly), but she just ate, so I didn't want to stress her too much.

Slightly, but not much better pics. At least no newsprint.

Flash overload!!! Love the blushing and colors on her. In a few years those babies are going to be out of this world. Any idea on what your going to pair with? Caliders have always been my favorite, plus you don't see too many of them around here.

Love the caliders too. In 2-3 years when she's ready who knows what will be the hottest combo though. I considered going the quick route and getting a male to pair up with pastels and spiders, but I really want a female breeder so I will have the ability to produce supers. Since a breeder size female calico would be difficult to locate and way out of my budget, I have to grow one up myself. A male will be easy to come by in the future.

One more attempt at a photo, I've got no skills. I guess I should make a lightbox. She is so difficult to photograph. Can't get over how velvety she looks in person.

Calicos are among my favorite morphs, and their beauty if hard to capture in a pic. That is a beautiful female. Congrats on your new addition!
