    Changed my mind again ;)

I had a deposit on a Pastel Het Clown male at a local breeder. While I was waiting on the snake to eat enough to come home, I decided to get a Lemonblast instead. No problem, so I went over there today to look at him and possibly bring him home.

Well, while there and looking at all those beautiful snakes, I fell in love with a little superblast male. He is to young yet to come home with me, but I left a deposit for him and hopefully he will be eating a few meals and coming home with me soon

I did get a couple of pictures. The lighting in that room was dark though and the colors look really washed out in the pictures. The little one is much prettier in person...The light parts look lavendar, the dark areas are almost dark purple looking and the yellow is BRIGHT and neon colored, like a highlighter. Wish the pictures would have turned out better.

Without further ado, the new addition to my small collection :

    Thanks for looking

And MUCH better pictures to come

Thanks for the pictures and supporting a local breeder. I love dealing locally, no shipping woes and if anything needs to be taken care of, the breeder isn't too far away for transport or help. I like making good friends and acquaintances, especially when it comes to live animals, plus what's better than getting to pick out a new snake where it was born .

I wish i had a LemonBlast, but i am not planning on breeding much anymore and they are a little too expensive right now. I'll wait a couple years when their more common!

Yes, the Lemonblast was also very beautiful, but the colors on the Superblast just blew me away, and I couldn't resist...lol

I found the breeder on FaunaClassiieds and when I saw he was local, I almost fell off my chair. I've seen so many cool snakes there, its "over load". Got to see some Black Widows today and all kinds of neat things. My BIG favorites are pastel clowns and Killer Clowns. Also the kingpins and emperor pins. DROOOOL

I should have made more pictures but I was to busy being blown away, LOL.

Great new addition! That is definitely a beautiful little snake, hope you enjoy him, I know you are probably already thinking of what to put him to.

Wow - he's stunning! You're building quite an enviable collection! You SURE you don't want to breed one day? LOL

You know, I just might But its not my first priority. I want snakes that I think are really beautiful, ones I can enjoy looking at and handling. I think it would be thrilling to see what pops out of an egg, esp. since I would breed the morphs that could produce the kind of snakes/morphs I love !

The problem is the selling. I'm so picky where they end up, LOL.

I've been told I should breed the Superblast to the Pastel lesser female. Wonder what that would end up with ? Guess I need to really study all the genetics, etc.

However, if it wouldn't work out for whatever reason, that is fine with me too. I'm also not in a hurry, will grow the females to a good size before even attempting. I'm definitely not in it for the money.
