This is probably one of my favorite lessers we hatched out this year, too bad it's a male. Those spots along his dorsal should be BRIGHT yellow after this next shed.

All the lessers that I've hatched this year have started out dark like that, then lighten up after a few sheds... here's a picture of one that's a couple months old along with one of the sire at 2 years old who did the same thing.

Just went through the collection and was taking updated pictures of the hatchlings and thought I would throw these up here to show how my lessers are maturing this year.

This guy was a couple posts back, he was one of the first lessers we hatched this year. First picture was from back in July, and the second picture is from a couple days ago.




I'm pretty happy with how they're turning out, but of course all my holdback girls had to be stubborn about starting to feed -- they're all a month or so worth of meals behind the boys.
