    Looking for a logo

I'm looking for a graphic designer to make a logo for my BP breeding business (if I can even call it a business at this point) and I was just wondering if anyone has hired someone for theirs and has any recommendations?

    Re: Looking for a logo

I commissioned Laura Rice (Laooda) to do mine.

I've also seen Kasey Kimberly's work (ColdBlooded) and she's got great talent as well!

I don't know what Kasey charges, and Laura charges depending on the amount of detail that you want. You could PM both of them to inquire if they are accepting commissions right now and get some samples of their work (although my avatar is what Laura did for me).

    Re: Looking for a logo

Just a note while you are shopping for a logo. If you have some ideas and can draw them out...or have some pictures you really like... Check out this free open source graphics editor.

    http://inkscape.org/

It does the same thing as some of the 3-6k software on the market. For instance, you can take a picture, insert it, copy it into Inkscape and turn it into a vector graphics art (make as big or as small as you like without pixelating) add as many movable markers as you want and edit like crazy. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

There are plenty of inkscale tutorials as well:

    Good Luck!
