    Is this normal poo??

I just have to know because I haven't seen him poo like this before!! I normally don't ask people about poo but we are newbie snake owners and since some of you have been so helpful to us in the past, I figured I'd give it a shot .

It doesn't look normal to me. How large is the snake? It kinda looks like a regurged rat pinkie to me.

Being on aspen it's hard to tell. If it has urate with it I would say yes. But I think it might look like regerge too. When did you feed the snake last?
Too many snakes to list. Ball pythons, Gtp's and Boa's. It easier to say it that way.

    Re: Is this normal poo??

    Hi,

The aspen makes it hard to tell but I think it might just be differently coloured urates?

pick it out onto a bit of paper towel and we should be able to say definately one way or another.

He was definitely pooping.. At first, I thought he had regerged too but I don't think it is.. I can grab another pic with it on paper towels but it pretty much looks like canned baked beans, lol. Normally what I see from him is like the little peice of poop that's to the left of the pic. I haven't seen him poop like this before but after doing some googling, it seems to be ok just lighter in color.. His last feeding was on Sunday.

OK.. Here is what I just pulled out of his habitat. My camera battery kept dying so I apologize for it being a bit blurry but I had to be quick, lol.

I would go with normal poo.

Normal poo, but the smell will tell you which. Regurg has it's own smell. Once you have had the pleasure, you will never forget it.

    Re: Is this normal poo??

I'd say normal poo and maybe some oddly coloured urates. If this is the first time it's happened and it doesn't happen again, I'd say it's nothing to worry about.
