    Strange!

Sometimes when I come home I find that my ball pythons are in this WEIRD position... one will have its head barely in the hide, and body stretched out straight, where as the other will have its tail barely in the hide, same thing, wrapped together...

does that make sense? they are wrapped together, one with its head in the hide and the other with jus its tail... and the one with his head in the hide, burries it under aspen... they arent trying to mate are they?

No, they aren't. When they mate they wrap only their tails around each other. It sounds like one of them is trying to dominate the other, because ball pythons should NOT be housed together.

One snake will try to dominate the other, and the subordinated one will probably go off feed, etc.

Please separate them. It's what's best for the snakes.
