I've been talking with a breader about getting a bee from him and have been waiting on the clutch to hatch (Bee x Super pastel). They are finally here and this is the female I am getting!

Re: New Bee BP (just hatched)

I am planning to keep her as a pet. Should the opportunity present itself, I wouldn't mind breeding her in a few years when she is ready. But I don't plan on "rushing" to get the breeding underway as soon as possible. I have a Spider male (hatched this June), and soon will have the Bee female.

If you can get a pastel male for that bee female it would be a better match, IMO. She is super pretty!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Yeah I know a Pastel would give me much better offspring (Super Pastels and Killer Bees), but I like the Spider and Bumblebee morphs. These are pets first and foremost and not really geared towards breeding. But like I said, I wouldn't be apposed to breeding them.

I know what you mean about liking the Spider.

It's my most favorite morph out there. So happy to have one of my own!
