    Cool My new website

Thought I would share my new website with everyone here. It has been up for a few weeks but I have been tweaking it here and there. I added a donation link to USARK and placed a player for Reptiles Radio on it as well. I also have a like button for Facebook too. Please check it out and click on the like button. Give me some feedback and let me know what you think and if you want... buy a snake or two

I built this to the best of my ability by myself and I have no training on web design or anything like that, so please keep that in mind. I do take constructive criticism very well though, so let me know what might be better.

    Thanks everyone...

Nice job! Seems user friendly & promoting the USARK is a great thing!!!! One piece of constructive criticisim, I'd make the text in the links bar a little clearer/more crisp. Other than that, kudos to you!

Thanks. That bar is a graphic. I need to completely rework it and make the text rollovers as well. I sure apppreciate the advise and it is something that I will get fixed soon.

Thanks. I did it all on Microsoft Front Page and did the graphics myself using Photoshop. I don't like many web page builders and used to use just HTML on a text editor, but Frontpage is pretty easy for me to use and quicker now days for me. I have it hosted through Godaddy and like them pretty well.

Easy to navigate, that's always my #1 concern, you did good there! MissDixie's suggestion about the menu bar is the only really issue I noticed.

Your code is very clean too. I can tell you didn't use FrontPage or Dreamweaver, unless you ran the code through a cleaner. Whatever you used to generate the HTML, it does a good job.

Edit: REALLY, FrontPage? Guess they are making it better now than they use too.

Yeah, I used Frontpage 2003 for it. I am not too big on web designing so I just use what I have available. What I don't like is the on line web design editors. Seems most of em make the pages kinda cartoony looking, but that is what I used to learn on initially, up till I started reading up on HTML. Things have changed so much now though that I just have not been able to keep up with the new stuff. I am not the smartest guy when it comes to technology anyways.

Well, he came from a great breeder

He is almost breeding size, and I have not power fed him any at all. He eats like a champ and has a great personality. Hands down my favorite ball python in the collection.

I do have one more suggestion. You should probably set up Google Analytics now. It will help you down the road to see what people are looking at and any bad links you might have. It will also help you find where your traffic is coming from. It's a great tool because if I see a lot of people are finding my sites from Google, I'll pump some money into advertising on google adsense. Or say a lot of people are coming from this forum on a regular basis. That would probably be because you participate on the forums and people see your website in your signature and click on it. What happens if you stop posting on this forum for a while? Well, you'd pay to advertise on this forum
