    Re: Syracuse Area Pet stores?

We just went to visit the Syracuse area last weekend and of course tracked down all the pet stores we could find All that we found was a Petsmart/Petco near Great Northern Mall and there was also a store called Ebling's near by. Obviously Petco was pointless but Ebling's had a small but decent selection of reptiles. Ebling's did have a small Koi pond inside with some amazing Butterfly Koi near full size. There was also a store in Cicero called Ack's Exotic's that focused on reptiles that was worth checking out. They had several varieties of snakes, monitor's,prairie dogs, american alligators, turtles, tortoise's,iguanas, and what was believed to be some sort of small foxes. Other than that we did not find much.
On a side note: We checked Craigslist before heading out and manage to pick up a great deal on an 1300 gram female Ball for only $50. and was 20 minutes late on picking up a pair of adult Balls for only $40 ! Point is .... it appears to be a buyers market in the Syracuse area at the moment

Thanks alot for the advice. Ill deffinetly have to check those couple places out.

And great user name. We are all huge sabres fans in this house. Mom is from Niagra Falls and Dad is from Youngstown, And I was born in Buffalo General, then lived in Niagra until we moved about a year and half later. Lets hope the Sabres have a better season this year.

    Cool Syracuse Reptiles

I Know This Thread Is Old But, I Came Upon It From A Google Search So Let Me Say that Craigslist has many posts from local breeders, that don't make enough to pay rent on a business but sell out of their home setups. I Got A Couple Ball Pythons From One Local Breeder & Know Of Two Others, From Craigslist. Hopefully This Spring I'll Have Some Normals & Pinstripes Available Myself.
