    Upgraded tub size, should I?

Hey all, I moved my 850g +/- male pastel from a 15qt tub to a 28qt tub this past week. Should I leave him be for a week as though he is brand new? He seems to be happy and comfortable. I moved him Thursday and he cruised for a while that day, but has since just been hanging out in his hides. Temps and humidity are exactly the same, same rack, same shelf, just larger tub. I'm dying to get him out, but don't want to cause a problem. Thanks in advance.

Re: Upgraded tub size, should I?

I recently moved my girl from a 34qt to a 40qt and she ate two days later... So I would say if your snake isn't finicky it should be fine. If he's cruising around and acting stressed, then let him adjust if he needs it.

Re: Upgraded tub size, should I?

I always uses a large tub this way I not playing hunt for the right tub/lid. but I also start out all snakes in 40 qt tubs 9when I can find/order them) I never had a problem sincei clutter the tubs up untl they on a pattern then I slowy remove stuff until it just a waster bowl and ( luck few hides). I need to aquire a large number of hides and tub for this fall between the hatchlnigs I don't offer up/sell and for any possible trades/buying I get to do)
