    Havre de Grace

Since the Navy will be preventing me from attending the next Richmond, VA show in July I was thinking about heading to the Havre de Grace, MD for the first time on July 10th.
I was wondering if anyone has been and could tell me what to expect compared to the Richmond show?
I've seen that the show is just about every month, do alot of people usually turn out? I'll be looking mainly for BPs.

    Re: Havre de Grace

Dont really know about richmond, but I have been to hamburg and harve de grace seems to be a smaller show, but no shortage of animals and supplies... The big show seems to have a big repeat of things, but you are able to find more used supplies... other then that you will find everything your looking for there.

    Re: Havre de Grace

I go to all the havre de grace shows that I can and have been for almost a year now.

I've never been to the richmond show though.

I find its got a nice variety of animals and supplies, plus i get to see fiends and meet people (like Greg who i saw at the show on saturday lol). I find i can get a lot of stuff i need, or if i have animals I want to trade its a pretty prime place to do so since Larry (show promoter/creater/god) doesn't have a problem with people bringing in outside animals, unlike other shows that visit timmonium like the MARS and the repticon show that was last month.

There are a few vendors I won't buy from, but for the most part its pretty good, and i love going and spending a saturday day there.

    Re: Havre de Grace

like the havre de grace show when i went ( also been to the cambridge first show it was small but I expected that since it was a first time show.)
also one at the fair grounds in maryland. last year.

I like to get back to havre de grace I just got to see what my funds will look like. hate being disable limited income and not t ospare to visit show (I guess I need to find more computers to relaod/build and other odd jobs. ) one day I might be able to have a table(if I can even take the patience to fill out the forums for one ) but I doubt that since like this year i only producing 12 snakes if my eggs all hatch. I hoping for a high number of visible morphs so I can work on getting a bee or lesser.

    Re: Havre de Grace

I'm still planning on heading to the Havre de Grace show on next weekend. My main purpose for this show is to pick up those giant bags of Aspen they usually sell for about $20. For you guys who have been to the show, do they usually have a vendor that sells them there?

i believe the person that sells the books has the aspen. I go to concord pets and get a compressed 8.0 cubic ft bag for like 25 bucks. ( I need to get more soon)
