    Charlotte's first time outside... DUW

Today I took Charlotte outside for the first time, as the weather is usually too freakin' cold here - even (especially) in the summer. But it was semi-sunny this morning, so I took her out for a little photo shoot. She's getting so big, nearly 60g now, and after the last shed her color is turning greenish. Very cool! Here are some... okay, LOTS of the better photos. I planned to get more shots on the ground, but she didn't want to let go of my hand (such a momma's girl, hehe).

I never realized how deep their "fork" is!

P.S. I have fading henna on my hand, in case you're wondering... also desperately in need of a manicure, LOL.

Thanks, and she really is inquisitive! If I don't take her out almost every day, she gets restless and starts to "redecorate" her tub... she'll move the substrate into mini-mountains, and fill her water dish with the stuff too. I have learned to check her tub daily, as it usually needs a water change. She's a super cool snake though, and I would highly recommend this species for any collection.

Thanks! I'm always amazed at how much better they look in natural light... unfortunately we don't get much sunshine here (I'm on the coast), so opportunities are few & far between. Although fog makes for some cool lighting too, LOL.
