    POLL: Best Beginner Gecko

I am looking at these four gecko species, and I was wondering which one is your favorite, and why?

I picked AFT, because they are as easy as leopard geckos(just need slightly more humidity) and very tame, and less common than the leos. However, I'll say as a beginner, the leos are cheaper, more colors are available without spending an arm and a leg, and leo's are more forgiving of the humidity issues, which I don't have here in florida, EVERYTHING is humid here.

I vote crested- they are adorable, and very simple to care for (no heating/lighting required, simple diet). It's hard not to like them!

I don't have personal experience with the other species. I know gargoyle care is very similar, if not close to exactly the same as cresteds. I do love the way leos look and maybe I'll get one someday

i say either crested or gargoyle, really its personal preference, whichever looks cooler i guess. i keep both with the exact same husbandry and they do awesome! my gargs are piggies, they eat a little more. they also dont climb as much as cresties.

Leopard gecko. EASY care requirements. Cresties have more complicated requirements since they need high air flow and high humidity.
