    blood in the tub??

Alright I got a quick question here.

Just checked on the ASF's today and noticed that there was blood all over a piece of wood. I checked all the rats and there is no battle wounds or anything like that. Is this from one of the females possibly in heat?? I've had my ASF's for a little bit now and have never seen anything like this before. Heres a few pics of the blood bath

My first question would be are you missing any? Because that is an awful lot of blood for a female in heat

Haha thats disgusting! I took it out of there as soon as I saw it. The weirdest part is that there was nothing on any of the aspen. Maybe your right pav, they just wanted a flavored chew toy.

Nope still have my 1.2 in the tub. I've never seen/heard anything about something like this before. I have one female that is pretty small and the other is right about breeding size but neither are prego.

Check the toes and bellies. They bite each others toes off sometimes. They go after the feet, toes, ears and underbelly. Thats alot of blood. It had to come from somewhere.

It seems like since it was on a chewing block and only the block, the blood would have to come from one of their mouths, right? Maybe a piece of the block splintered of and cut one of them? Strange.
