Figuring out a name for your BP breeding business

I've been banging my head against the wall trying to come up with a good original name for my BP breeding business.

This is what I've come up with so far: Showroom Serpents

    What do you guys think?

I think that would be a great name. When I get my ball rolling over here I plan on making mine be "Piebald exclusives".

Showroom Serpents sounds nice, appears to not be taken and is broad enough that it will still work if you decide to add another species of snakes to your breeding plans in the future.

Yeah a business name has to define you and what you are selling. That name sounds very good.

Re: Figuring out a name for your BP breeding business

To pick a business name is as critical as your logo, web page, end everything that come after it will be built around that name. Take the time to brain storm about different concepts that you want to convey. Keep is short and sweet but memorable. think of yourself shaking hands with a customer and saying "Hi I'm so&so and I'm with Showroom serpents" Does it roll off your tongue or to you find yourself having to think about not getting tongue tied after the 30th or 100th time like you would at a show.

Also think about the future. in ten years if you make it full time will you only be limited snakes or will you also offer Geckos, feeder rats, roaches ect.. marketing these things will be hard if you pigeon hole your business name..

you look at NERD, EbN, Bailey Reptiles..these guy's are big Ball python guys but also offer other snakes and even Lizards, tortoises and you wouldn't think twice.

Do the leg work now and come up with something you'll be both proud of and be able to build on..

Believe it or not - it took me almost 2 years to come up with my breeding business name. Once I got it though, it fit me like a glove!

Re: Figuring out a name for your BP breeding business

Keep thinking about it if you aren't in love with the name. It took me about 10 minutes to choose my 'business' name, and I loved it from the second I thought of it. I didn't even ask my sister if she liked the name before I bought the domain name She loved it though! Eventually you will come up with a name that you absolutely love! I still don't have a logo though, I haven't found one that I was in love with, I have liked a few sure, but love, nope. You have to be in love with it! It's like a husband/wife, you have to live with it for the rest of your life unless you give up!
