    switching easterns over to mice?

    Hi,

I'm looking for advice for switching an adult Eastern hognose over to frozen feeders.

What is the best way to go about frog/toad scenting?

Should I put just rub the thawed feeder on a live frog, and then put him in a separate container with the feeder? Do they need movement like some bps?

You can rub the rodent on a dead or live frog. Also it might help if you cut a frog/toad open and rub the insides on the rodent. Only do tht though if they don't take it the easier way because as you'd imagen it can be messy an nastey. As far as movement does, it depends on the snake.

Thanks for the advice! I tried today (rubbed on a live bullfrog) and got no response. How long should I try before offering a live toad/frog?? It's been 3 weeks since he last ate.
