    Spider troubles.

My spider ball, who is usually the best eater in the world, has begun to turn his nose up at food. He's interrested, but he just won't take it. A while back, he switched from live to f/t no problem, so I'm not sure if he's just turning down f/t in favor of live now?

His temps, humidity, and hides are fine. They're all on spot, he's not showing any signs of stress or illness, so I dunno what it could be. He's probably just being true to the picky ball python name, but it drives me mad when they turn down food.

    Any opinions?

    Re: Spider troubles.

I'm afraid to say, your snake has the Sendittome syndrome. If you would sent it to me, I will bring it back from dispair.

Seriouisly, I think you should be okay. Many snakes will go off their food for some time. Some snakes never stop eating, others will stop for just a short time, others can go without eating for 2-8 months.

Just keep an eye on him. Always make sure he has water. Of course keep up on the temps and humidity. Make sure he doesn't lose too much weight. This is a stressful time for the owner, but everything should be okay.
