I would say it probably depends on where you are. State / county / country etc . . . .

I order from Rich at Reptilebasics.com
Be sure to order the clips and he can wire it all up. He's super fast and it's always a smooth transaction.

    Agreed
I get all my flexwatt/racks/thermostats Rich at Reptilebasics.com. If you have any questions I'd reccomend giving Rich a call, he is very helpful.

Also here is his Flexwatt FAQ: www.reptilebasics.com/flexwatt-faq.html

    Re: flex watt

Your probably won't find anywhere with cheaper shipping. I'm am confused as to why shipping is so expensive with flat rate shipping boxes, but reptile site seem to charge at least $12 even if you buy 1 foot of flexwatt.

I really like Rich, so I don't mind supporting Reptile Basics at all

    Re: flex watt

Helix is were I get all of my heat tape from it cost a little more then reptile basics. Helix will cut the heat tape to size and professionally solder the cord to the heat tape no cheap clips involved IMO it is a lot safer and more reliable to have the cord solder. Also, the plug in cord can be cut to the lengths you might need.
