    Am I over feeding this female?

    I got them in January-2010.
    Both Female & Male weight in Jan were 42-grams.

    Now, in April. (Weighted them yesterday)
    Male = 64-grams.
    Female = 94-grams.

    Am i overfeeding the female, she even looks fat. Im cutting her feeding to 1 meal and every 7-days now.
    i feed them in between 5-7 days. Males gets 1 meal, and offer him a 2nd but usually refuse. The female eats 2 all the time.

    The Male.

    The Female.

    Together.

    She's way too fat...it's just outright abuse, send her to me.

    Seriously, I'd cut back. I only feed hatchling colubrids every five days and never a double meal. When they get to be a nice weight, cut them back to a regular feeding schedule. You could even give her one appropriately sized rodent every five days, but I wouldn't give her two every five days. She's starting to look a little...."fluffy".

    Thanks for the advice.
    i'll cut back and feed her every 7-days instead of 5-days & 1 smaller size meal instead of 2.
