Nice pics! What kind of camera are you shooting with?

Quick tip that's worked for me...

When I get the light box set up and bring the snake in, I bring their hide and let them go into it. Once their all in, have some one pull the hide and start snapping shots before they have a chance to move. If you're lucky, you'll get a couple good shots in.

It's a FujiFilm FinePix S2700 HD...... but.......I just shot a video with it and when I uploaded it to the computer, not only was the quality absolutely HORRID, but there was this high pitched, whiney sound that was awful. I'm seriously debating taking it back. I'm not sure yet. I have it packed in the box ready to take it back, but for the money I spent, it has the best specs.

Debating exchanging it for the Nikon Coolpix L1100

We're using the Nikon D5000 DSLR. It takes fantastic pics.

    I'd check out the Nikon.

That's quite a bit out of my price range. Even $300 is pushin it. But when I CAN afford it, I'll put some $$ into a DSLR.

Re: A few more with the new camera.

i just purchased a nikon L110 and its the best choice i made over this older canon model. this camera just came out in february of 2010. i went to best buy to actually test it out fell in love with it then had an impulse buy LOL so i ended up leaving with it. later on that night i found the camera on amazon.com $60 cheaper!!! you better believe it i returned that camera the next day and went with amazon! but if you're looking for HD video and a nice optical lens then the nikon L110 is a good model to go with.

after reviewing the camera you have "FujiFilm FinePix S2700 HD", the nikon L110 is somewhat similar to that model its a 12MP camera, 15x optical zoom, 3" screen and uses 4 AA batteries. personally i prefer using the AA batteries as oppose to having the Li-Ion batt. packs.
