What the heck was that - I am not aware of what "onion reports means" but I would have to compare it to a SNL video - this certainly can't be for real - OMG.

It is not real. I am glad you did not believe the hype.
    Premises:
    Dangerous animals shall be banned.
    Ball Pythons are not dangerous.
    Conclusion:
Therefore, Ball Pythons shall not be banned.

Re: "The Onion" video on large pythons

It is pretty unfortunate to see a subject as touchy as this in our community being made fun of. But that seems to be what The Onion, a parody news website, is all about. They make fun of the most controversial topics of the moment.
It's also pretty unfortunate that most people don't read the fine print and realize that it's a fake news site.

Wow, it's defiently a spoof, but it's still sending out a strong, anti snake message. Basically they're pretending to say 'oh, who would have ever thought the giant snake would harm anyone' sarcastically...so they really mean, of course it will harm you.
Anyone else notice how you saw a ball python, retic, burm AND a boa throughout the different baby shots? Some of them were even photoshopped so they had a ball python head and a retic body or some other stupid combo.

We would never let Zach by the pool unless he was supervised by either one of us or the python.
I personally found it funny. It's so obviously a joke.

I laughed at it. "I should have checked on them before I went out food shopping, and then to the movies" It's making fun of irresponsible owners. It is still sending out an anti snake message by saying a python ate their kid though. I just hope everyone realizes that the Onion is a spoof news website... After the video ended another one started playing titled "Breaking news: Some <censored> happening somewhere"

I actually thought it was pretty funny. lighten up, not everyone's out to get your snakes. have you seen some of the other stuff they do? they must be sending out an anti-everything message.

Lol, yes it's a spoof. I laughed a few times, especially at getting a "therapy snake" to help them cope.
