Take a look at my website...
Here's my website I've been working on. I'd definitely appreciate feedback and please be as critical as possible.

I've never made a website but figured I'd give it a shot with the free software that came with my hosting package. If anyone has solid experience with free website builders, please let me know as I still have some questions on some things I'd like to do.

Re: Take a look at my website...
I have been designing websites for a living for over 10 years and I have to tell you, this isn't bad for your first site. Two things that I would definitely change:
1. Dynamic Layout - I'm viewing this on a 24" monitor and it is hard to read. I would set the width to 960 pixels. This is pretty much standard.
2. Home Link - Put the "Home" link in the menu with the rest of the links. The current location can be easily missed.
I'm not too crazy for the logo and header graphic but this is just my personal preference. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the comments Bart! I'm sending you a PM on some of the questions I've got.... I simply don't have the understanding for this web design stuff.

I like it. It is simple and to the point with out a lot of extra distractions.

It's really good, pretty easy to navigate, but I would definitely at least put what city you're in in your contact section, since you're selling something that requires pick-up only. Otherwise,

1.0 spider ball python, Noah
0.1 genetic blurry ball python, Eleanor

Nice job on your website! I really like the 'edgy' apperance of the background. It fits your logo nicely. There is a couple things that stick out for me:
1. Both your logo and the background you chose have an almost industrial look to them, very cool. But the font you chose on the home page welcome portion is very soft. The font is nice, it just doesnt seem to fit as well with the edgy look you have.
2. I like your logo in your sig, you might want to play around with size and placement of your logo on the web site. It's cool, might as well show it off. (If it is a resolution issue, send me a pm and i can give you some tips on how to change that).
3. I also agree that simple is nice when navigating. Good job! I also like the colors you chose, but also can see how adding a picture or two without causing clutter would look nice.
again, great job!
