What are the dates for this years Daytona show? My sister and I plan to go! She's already looking up hotels!

Well this will be my first Daytona show. I had hoped to go last year but couldn't so this year my sister and I are making sure we are able to go. She just checked her class schedules and she can go! Now we just have to save up money to go and money for snakes! I'm actually figuring out numbers right now to see how much it's going to cost us to go.

Hotel - $70-100/night (we are only staying one night)
Estimated Gas Cost - $200 round trip
Food Cost - I'm fine with bringing a loaf of bread, jar of cheap peanut butter and some grape jelly!

What other costs should I consider when planning this trip? (other than snakes of course )

thats sounds like the check list i have for the daytona show this year. i would say extra expensenses if your out there anyways go to gator land. i love gator land. as for other costs snakes snakes and more snakes and maybe some type of other lizard

Oh yea, I really hope to be able to get some snakes. And what are the times for the show? When does it open? What time does it close? Will there be any bp.net get togethers? We are so excited for this, we are discussing the driving arrangements now.

it start august 20th til the 22nd it doesnt say anything about what time it starts. and that be cool if there was a bp.net get together..

They actually had more this year than last, it just looked smaller because of the new room layout.

Just FYI....the online hotels are not showing the discount for the show yet, if you call the hotels directly they will gladly hook you up with a great rate!!!
