plastic rack repair question
I was given a rack it the black plastic ones every seems to have it a 6 tub deal. the only draw back it the one side on the very top has borken ( like the plastic came apart at the corner) is ther anything that I use to repair the one side ?? I know it that i the blakc plastic and has 6 tubs ( either 28 or 32 qtI think. I have ot rewire it for heat which is no biggie for me . I just wonder as I afraid that the top shelf (were it busted would allow an escape). I figure what ever repair i do will most likey be temp unless I find out something like the plumber 2 part glue would work. I don't have the need right away for it to be used I just want ot get it patched/fixed and ready to be used in case the need does arise. To me it had a plastic graphite type feel. I will try ot get pictures tomorrow but don't expect it to look like new i need ot clean the tub and all. I figure I ask for a heads up incase I haveot order any special expoy to do the repair.

Re: plastic rack repair question
Pictures may help illustrate your narration. *Edit*:Just saw you are going to snap some pics for tomorrow...
But from what I understand...perhaps a little JB Weld may help?

If the rack isnt coming apart and you just want to seal it, i would get some "Great Stuff" from lowes, its cheap, and its unsulation in a can.

Re: plastic rack repair question
I had a plastic rack from Reptile Basics arrive in the mail with some damage. Per Rich's suggestion I used "All purpose cement: for PVC, ABS, CPVC" and it has been ABSOLUTELY SOLID. At first glance, it seems like it would repair your rack. You may not want to stack anything on top, but it should do fine.

Re: plastic rack repair question
Why not find out who the manufacturer is and then order replacement pieces for whichever ones are broken?
I know AP will do that.

JB Weld to the rescue!
I'm not sure if it's safe around pets though.
