    Dinner Time!

Excuse the horrible quality of the pictures. My camera has been missing for over 2 months so I have to settle for using my phone.

On the menu tonight, one of their favorites: Turkey neck. (I had Damien on my shoulder while I was trying to take this picture. He kept trying to get down to it. )

And a few pics of the kids chowing down. I got a video too but it won't upload from my phone .

The white one on the left is Kale. The dark one is Damien and the one to the right who is moving around so much is Twitch.

    huh?

Well this is after 30 minutes of them munching on it. They will spend the next hour or two chewing up the bone. Usually after a turkey neck meal, I find very little left. They LOVE their turkey necks.

The only thing that could defeat Superman was Kryptonite.

Ergo my analogy would mean that ferrets slay me.

    I LOVE em!

It's so retarded that they're illegal in California!

My friend had them when we were kids, are they always STUNK like crazy! I don't know if they didn't wash them enough or something. Do they all stink? Since they're illegal, I don't see them at all to know enough.

    Re: Dinner Time!

A ferret should never STINK. Do they have an odor? Yes, but it is not offensive by any means. My dog smells worse than my ferret do right now. Their poop used to smell horrible but after being on a raw diet for almost two years I can't really smell it unless I'm right near it, much like dog poop. Washing them too often can actually make them smell more. (they secrete more oil if they are washed too often). We only wash ours when they get dirty (make a mess) or about once a month or once every other month. Many ferret keepers only bathe their ferrets 1-2 times a year!

It is rather stupid they are illegal in California. Their reasons are equally dumb.

Ferrets have frightened me since I had several nightmares about them when I was a kid....

    Re: Dinner Time!

The only nightmares I've ever had about my ferrets were of them getting loose and me never finding them again. Like snakes, there is no real reason to be afraid of them but I can understand that there are people who are.

My 3 are such big babies.

I miss my ferret char. And all the stuff I still have not found.
