Finally got to test new camera at the Zoo!!

So I was fortunate enough to get to go to the Zoo today with a club from school. Afterward we did the ENTIRE Zoo in under two hours, which is no small feat. Here are the best pictures from the day:

    Sea Lion:

    Elk Chillaxin:

Lion Roaring (Maybe my fav of the day):

    Bobcat:

    Copperhead and a Rattler:

    Zebra Bootay:

    African Eagle:

    Go NCSU Wolfpack!

The Copperhead and the Rattlesnake are in the same tank?

was there another rattlesnake in there? the head of that rattlesnake is an eastern diamondback but there appears to be the partial body of a timber rattlesnake in the background...in addition to the copperhead.

I see what you are seeing, but we were in such a hurry to get through the zoo that I can't actively recall. There may well have been more snakes in that exhibit, so it is entirely possible.

Thanks, it was watching us so intently that it was definitely intimidating.
