    Retained Eye Caps

Hi guys, new to this forum. Just got a Ball Python from this random guy, looks about 3 to 4 feet long so I am guessing its a little older. I took the snake because I saw that the kid didnt take good care of it. I am doing what I can to change its life around.

Anyways to my question, I see the python has some shedding problems, and feel like he has not shed his eye caps. Before I do something to get the eye caps off, I would really like to see a picture of a ball python that has and has not shed his eye caps. Just so I can verify.

    Thanks guys.

    Re: Retained Eye Caps

I can't offer pictures, but unshed caps will clearly present themselves in the form of dimpled eyes. Hope that helps, and good luck with the rescue!

    Cheers,
    -Matt

They can also look like little eyelids at the top of the eyes...sorry I don't have any pics.
