    Our Walk-In Ball Python Incubator!

We just turned on our incubator for the season and thought we would share some pics.

Last year we used this walkin but we only ran it on a Ranco and it kept shutting off for some reason. So this year we made a few adjustments!

We have a Johnson running at 89 degrees and then we have a Ranco running at 88 just in case the Johnson fails.
We also have a Temp. Alarm running so if the temps change by a degree it calls our phones. We have that hooked up to both the incubator and the main room!

    Heres a couple shots.

Looking at the door with the johnson next to it.

The Johnson reads a little high so its not really 92 degrees it it around 89.5-90 all the time!

When you walk in you can see the back up Ranco on the far wall.

Heres a shot of the temp. alarm.
Top left is the furnace, bottom left is the auto dialer and the other two are the sensors one is running to the incubator and one is for the main room.

    Thanks for looking!

Looks good!!! How are you liking the temp alarm? Hopefully you wont have to use it though. I have thought about getting one.

That is a very interesting idea on how to make one, I was wondering on how you are controlling your humidity though.

We like it a lot, we have had a couple times where our furnace has shut off because it ran out of propane and it called us both times!

So is your whole facility including the incubator heated by a furnace? Or do you heat the incubator with the oil heater and the facility with the furnace?
