    SnakeBytesTV-Snake Defense

It's interesting that when hibernating colubrid snakes they still all have some form of defense. They do not just lay there and go to sleep. Some actually get more agressive during hibernation. For us hibernating snakes is a huge job, cleaning each and every cage to make sure they stay healthy. We look at both the snakes actions as well as what goes into to getting the ready for hibernation. To watch just go to: www.youtube.com/snakebytestv please comment, 5 star rate and subscribe. I totally missed that last week was two years for us on the show. It's been a lot of fun and without you guys watching it would not be possible. I really appreciate that a lot. Thanks, Brian(BHB)

    Lol,

I was about to say Lori wins but the rat snake at the end might just have pipped her to the post.

Good info about the immune system slowing down too - I had never even considered that.

Hey Brian, glad to see you taking one for the camera. Looks like he was starting to chew on ya there at the end. Speaking of chew, how come you didn't get Chewy to take a shot at the Rat snake? I've got to give that guy a lot of credit, he takes a lot of bites. FUNNY STUFF.

    Take Care!

    Re: SnakeBytesTV-Snake Defense

Has anyone EVER gotten the i-Tunes podcast to work for Snakebytes TV ??????
I'd forgotten about it after Brian acknowledged there was a problem - but he was going to check in and get it fixed - just tried it again and it still doesn't work.

Super-quick question, and I hope you don't think I'm a pest for asking--are those sani-chips you're using for bedding, or aspen, or something else?
