They don't look pregnant to me. They just look like big worn out breeders. When a mouse is pregnant its pretty noticeable LOL.

One way to help tell is if you hold them up by the tail you will see their side bulge out and yes they appear pregnant. Well the one looks like a male but the others look pregnant

    Re: are they pregnant ???

I think it is 3 pictures of the same 2 mice. I see what made SingingtotheWheat say the one looks like a male, but I'm not 100% sure if that is boy parts or just the stuff under the mouse. In any event, one of the mice looks happy and healthy and slightly bulgy like she might be pregnant, and the other one looks fluffy up and hunched up, often signs of an unhealthy mouse.

It is hard to tell. If you want, keep the one for a few days, and if the bulging belly gets progressively bigger, then she is likely pregnant. I'd recommend feeding off the other though, if s/he is usually hunched up like that.

For your future reference, big bellies can be a sign of pregnancy, and they also can be a sign of the mouse having recently pigged out on something. I sometimes pick up 100 or so mice from a breeder who makes deliveries in the area. By the time I get them, they've been in the delivery van all day, and have run out of food. I immediately take them home and set them up with food & water. Within a few hours, every single one of them has a bulging belly that looks pretty much just like a pregnant mouse, even the boys!

Sometimes I double take when my males look pregnant lol... but they are just fat. When a mouse is noticably pregnant, she is PREGNANT!!! if you know what i mean.

I know exactly what you mean. I have an A.S.F. right now that has just gotta drop any minute and she is wider than she is long. I SWEAR!

I sometimes wonder how my females keep their balance, waddling around like they do :p

    Re: are they pregnant ???

My niece pegged it perfectly when she said: It looks like she swallowed a couple of golf balls. If those females are preggers, they are in the earlier stages (which isn't entirely impossible). Believe me, there is no mistaking a pregnant mouse. It is hard to believe something that small can carry around something that big. Then just when you believe if she gets any bigger she's gonna explode.....she does.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat
