Is it safe to administer baytril to a snake thats building follicles?
i have a building female weth an RI, well the eggs be safe or will i be losing this clutch?

Big Gunns has done it with a gravid boa and got a completely healthy litter. If it can be done with a boa, it can be done with a Ball. However, you should stop breeding the female this year. If she gives you eggs that's a bonus, but stop breeding her.

One more thing. Did a Vet give you Baytril, or are you just self administering? This could be a HUGE mistake and will get you 50 lashes from the bp.net police once they all wake up.

If you were directed to self medicate under the direction of a vet, I see no problem with this. However, if you're just picking a dosage out of the clear blue sky, I'd not recommend that.
As far as if it's safe, did the vet know that the snake was gravid? If not, a quick call to him/her will answer your question. I'm not prepared, nor qualified to give you the correct answer.
