    Russo Het Leucistic Pics.....

Here's a few pics of our Russo Het Leucistic male. We acquired him as a hatchling in '08. Hopefully he'll be ready to get to work this season. Thanks for looking.

Looks like a pretty normal right? This is why Big Gunns always says. "A normal is not a normal until proven to be one".

Thanks Aaron! Short term plans are to breed him to at least one Mojave female this season. I've got several that should be ready to go this year so I think I can spare him one and try to take a shot at some nice Leucistics. If he's willing I may pair him up with a few normals. I've got plenty of those and I'd like to produce some female RHLs.

Long term plans are to breed him to most everything I've got. I think these guys are very underrated as far as their combo potential due to the fact that they don't look much different from a really sweet normal.

Thanks for your comment BG. "A normal is not a normal until proven to be one" I like your perspective.

I'm no expert on these guys. That's for sure. I've seen pics of some supposed RHL that I couldn't discern from a normal to save my life. Mine on the other hand looks far better than my nicest normal or normal appearing animal and I've got more than 200 of them to compare him to. He's nicer looking in person than my pictures show. Vin Russo would be the best person to talk with for info. To answer your last question, it is a co-dom mutation and is a visable het for "White Diamond" which is a Leucistic.

    Re: Russo Het Leucistic Pics.....

I like the VR het lucies and here is a pics of one of my sub adult females with a normal ball. I have been told that I make some of the brightest ones but I guess that is from breeding my original het male to nice yellow females. Also is a pic of my super ("White Diamond").

    Thanks Ryan Young
