    good size tub?

Hey guys, I wanted to breed some mice for my snake and was looking into the tub enclosures for them. What size tub (sterilite) container would you recommend for a 1.2 or 1.3 breeding "colony". I have also been trying to find a walkthrough or how to make the cage with the screen on top and how to use a water bottle in the tubs. I haven't been able to find one so if you guys might be able to post a link if there is one that'd be awesome. I am mainly just concerned with what size tub (10-15 qt.?) and how to get them water. Thanks for your time.

There's a tub sticky in the asf forum for tubs. I can't get tubs locally so stuck with tanks unfortunately.

Petmate litter pans are great for mice.

    http://www.lnt.com/product/litter-pa...d-colors-.html

    They are 20 1/4" x 13 5/8" x 3 1/2" high.

This is an awesome size for mice. They are shallow enough to allow the mice easy access to food and water, but spacious enough to allow room for your breeders and little guys.

Vision also make tubs that could be used for mice.

    http://visionproducts.us/htm7/tubs.html

    They are 18" x 7.5" x 3.5" high.

These are about half the size of the Petmate litter pans, but they could be great if you plan on separating your females when they get pregnant.

There are also an assortment of plastic bus tubs that are used for busing tables in restaurants that could be good for breeding mice as well.

You can buy 12 QT at local stores then drill a hole in the top (same exact size as bottle nozzel) for the water bottle if that is what you wanted to know.

12 qt is too small for mice especially 1.2 once babies are born.

I personally use Cat litter pans that are equivalent of 21quarts So if you can get a storage bin of about 30+ quarts your golden
