Chameleon Question!
Umm..... For around 2 weeks could they survive in a glass tank with a screen top?

Hi,
It's been a while since I had mine but the answer to that is going to depend a lot on which species of cham you're talking about.
Also might be a good idea to tell folks how old it is, what its origin is ( WC, CB etc )and how healthy it looks at the moment.
Over here people have a bad habit of buying WC chams, putting them in inadequate housing, not treating them for parasites then wondering why it died.

Veileds are pretty bulletproof. I think it should be ok, but I would maybe turn the tank on it's end to make it taller for her. Why are you getting a veiled before you have proper caging set up?

you should deff wait until you have the screen cage set up before getting her.
Putting the glass cage on its side wouldn't really work becasue of putting the lights on the top.

that would be a definite no go! espicially if she has eggs.
have you ever cared for a cham? they are finicky, espicially a preg female. Do ou know how do give her a good lay box? do you have the right UVB lights? do you know propper humidities and temps?
