Longer time before you're signed out

When Big Gunns goes into one of his long and very informative posts, he usually has to sign back in when he hits "post". One of these days all that valuable information that BG posts might be lost forever if he forgets to copy it. We wouldn't want that to happen now would we?

When you are signing in....there is a little check-box right next to where you are inputting your username and password. Click on that check-box (I believe it says "Remember Me") and you will stay logged in until you manually log yourself out or switch computers.

No way....it can't be true. This has got to be some kind of sick joke. The world is coming to an end people...say your good-byes to the loved ones.

So you're telling Big Gunns something he didn't already know???? WAAAHHHHHH... It's all over people.

If the world survives, BG will try that next time JLC.....thanks.

I have this box checked and still get signed out every now and then...... Not to worry though, if you press the back button, your words will still be there and you can copy if you forget.

I got a question about the 10 mins to edit. Sometimes I re-read my posts and think, man that sounds way out of context of what i meant for it to say. Then I cant fix it.

If you still get logged out after clicking the check box, clear your cookies and cache and that should take care of it.

The 10 minute rule is to prevent people from going back days, weeks or months later to change a post and then go "I never said that - show me where I said that!". You can simply quote your "out of context" post and then clarify what you meant!

Big Gunns should clear his cookies and he will probably solve his problem. Jimmy had the same problem and Jimmy solved it by clearing his cookie cache.

    Mmmmmm....cookies.

Almost as good, just about as tasty and satisfying, close but missing by a hair, so to speak, yummy indeed, yet not quite so delicious, as Mermaid Pie.
