Big Gunns almost forgot. BG did ask the importer(most people "in the know" know him) what he would do. He explained that he had bred many a wild caught male and NEVER had a problem with disease.

You're welcome. Big Gunns was about to post that he does not think it's wise not to QT your animals just because he didn't do so this particular time.

I would have probably done the samething if I had the money. Not quarantine an animal, but quarantine a group that will be in contact with it.

Getting it to breed now was a wise decision, who know if he will still want to breed the next years to come.

    Yep.

Doesn't just about every decision you make in life come down to dollars and cents?

You forgot one thing though. People that know BG best know EXACTLY what this is. He just hasn't mentioned it here...... YET.

Ah see I was told that you and Pete bought it from Ian who imported it from Noah.

OOooo you've got me on pins and needles here Neil.

And yeah a lot of things in life do come down to dollars and cents but I don't care if you're God (which you seem to think you are) you are taking a risk with the lives of your animals by introducing a snake just out of the wild without even taking a little time to make sure that it's not sick. Who gives a rats ass if your "importer" friend says that he's never had a problem?

No he/she isn't. Clearly he/she has waaaaaaay more experience than Big Gunns and everyone BG spoke with.

Big Gunns did have the importer and his buddy(who knows he sheeyat) look at the snake to make sure it looked healthy before it was introduced to anything. If it was sick, BG wasn't taking it.

BG is not even upset with what he/she is saying. He/she is right, but to every rule, there are exceptions. This is one of those cases...and it appears...like usual...Big Gunns was right. All animals are alive and squirming to this day.

ps. As far a "God" goes. BG doesn't just think.

Told by a "forum expert" BG is sure. It didn't come from Noah either.

Not quite, I think the Noah was my own assumption only name that was sure was Ian, but I know they work together a lot so I assumed it was Noah.

"assumption" huh? It always seems that's where most problems start.
