    Lightbulb waterproof sealents

    hey guys im looking for a waterproof sealent for an enclosure im working on it made of wood so the sealent has to be good on wood i dont care much about the price so whatever you can suggest ill deffinatly look into it more thanks guys!!! -Mike. H

    Use a silacon sealent. Its cheap and in all hardware stores. Just make sure you let it dry for 24 hrs
    1.1 Het Albino Ball 1.0 Spider
    1.0 Mojave Ball 0.1 Pinstripe
    0.1 Honey Bee 0.2 Normal
    1.0 Caramel 0.1 Mojave het Caramel

    okay ill check my local hardware store.. now is this silacon sealent spray on or painted on?

    Lol I dont think silicone is what you're going to need.

    To seal and waterproof wood, you can use polyurethane. You can buy it spray or paint on, and you have to give it about a day or two to cure in the sun. You can even buy it in stain+sealant, so if you wanted to give the wood a neat finish you can look into that option.

    I miss read what you had said. I thought you where talkin about the corners and such. But like said above a good polyurethane should work well for ya.

    They also make plastic veneer that can be glued down..its more expensive than say Poly. or Epoxy Paint. But it is another option.

    I put one coat of stain on mine, and then I bought some polyurethane marine/rain/waterproof and put about 3 or 4 coats of that on. I've had the cage for almost a year, and have had no issues with moisture.
