    material to build enclosure?

I am trying to find a lightweight durable (possibly plastic material) to make a cage. I was looking at PVC board but I came across a site that says it is toxic >.<
So what else is there? And what would make a good see-through front? Glass, Plexiglas or something else?

XPVC is the best to use. it is toxic when you burn it like other PVC's but it has to get really hot to burn. it IS probably one of the best caging materials to use and work with. another option is ABS plastic. it is textured on one side but is super strong and a little lighter than PVC. i have caging made out of both but i prefer PVC.

i can order XPVC from the local plastic dealer. look in your area for a place that sells acrylic for signs and they can probably order it.
