What kind of fish are these?

I got them at Wal-Mart today and forgot to check. We're trying to figure out what gender we have too. They are our dorm pets! They don't have names yet but we want to give them a fictitious couple name. Like Lucy and Ricky. But not that one. So get creative!

    Here's the kids:

Yep, tiger barbs. Males usually have more red coloration. Also, you may want to pick up a couple more of them, they are happier in groups of 3-5.

yup get a few more for sure. the more the better because they can be extremely agressive and when you have a larger group it tends to chill them out some. just depends on how big a tank you have them in, becase they get about 3".

oh and look for some green and albinos too, they are pretty cool

All good advice on tiger barbs. Good luck! They're pretty.
