Question How to get that white backround in photos?

I see tons of BP pictures with that plain white background. Do you use any types of software on the computer that can make the background that white color, or is that white color from the surroundings that you took the picture in?

If I could make the background with software, does GIMP 2 work? I use GIMP for the white balance in my photos, so not really sure what else it's capable of.

White poster board for dark morphs and black poster board for light color morphs better contrast to show off colors.

Re: How to get that white backround in photos?

Just thought I'd add that if you have a Harbor Freight store nearby, they sell a 32" pop-up light tent for around $30 now. I actually just picked one up today because they had it on sale for $21. It's a lot easier to deal with than the PVC one that Connie and I built a while back.

I use white poster board, then make it whiter in photoshop.

    Haaha!

You like to remind me how long the wait is going to be until I have some!

I guess my point and shoot will have to suffice
