    Fedex shipping

    I just get certified to ship fedex im just curious when you ship your snakes do you drop the snake of at a fedex department or do you call to have a fedex driver pick the snake up from your house.

    Book the shipment online through your account.

    Drop it off at your local Fedex store or hub.

    I always like to call first and check when the latest I can drop the animal off is. Its usually 30 minutes or so before they're expecting the driver at the local Fedex facility. That way the animal is in a box for as least amount of time as possible.

    does it have to be at there main facility because I have a packaging department that is closer that uses fedex, ups and so on. Its not just fedex

    I concur. This is optimal. Our FedEx hub lists last drop off as 8 pm. We get there at around 7:30 or so to minimize transit time as much as possible.

    If the box gets picked up at your house, it will be sitting in the back of a truck all day, possibly under a bunch of other boxes. And, unloading is no gentle process. Minimize the time that the box is in the shipper's hands as much as you can.
