    Graphic designer

I designed a logo and web banner for my website, but I have gotten a lot of negativity about it's size and read ability. I am issuing an open challenge to let the masses who like a challenge to redesign my existing logo/banner or create a whole new design idea. I have tried but no luck to improve for the panel of peers I have surveyed. I am looking for a logo to put on business cards and web page banner and possibly a signature banner. Just something I threw together..

Well here is my shot at it.

It's definitely NOT finished. But if you like the overall design, I will refine it for you

I meant to reply to your other post but I got really excited about a job application and I think i deleted my reply :/ lol.

The textures are part of the issue I have here. Like Brandonsballs said, logos should be
    easy to read
    attractive
    brandable

The logo you have made looks like it was made from components of other things. Its not unified and has a ton of textures that dont really "go" together and are visually distracting. Read up on "vibrating colors." You havent' received negative comments, you've relieved critiques.

I'm bored and I have a headache so I think i'll give your logo a crack some of the other replies i've seen are great and you should be very happy that people are doing this for you just because you asked.

    Re: Graphic designer

This is what i came up with.

apparently today is not a coloring inside the line day. This is what my rough sketches look like. YEAH. I think you get the general idea.

    * i made 2, they don't go together and the text isn't part of them. I just added it in there to brainstorm.
