Minor to some, but irritating to me.
I was just scrolling through some snake-related news reports and came across this one:
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=840_1234355096
Yes, I know it's old, but the thing that bothers me, is it's talking about an 18-foot python (no specific species is named), which couldn't POSSIBLY be a Ball, yet there's a picture of one right below the article. False information irks me incredibly. How about you?
0.1 '09 Normal Ball Python - Sheva
1.0 Crested Gecko - Sol
1.0 SHTCTB Leopard Gecko - Paradox
1.0 Cockatiel - Mo (Mohawk)
0.1 Peachfaced Lovebird - Bean
0.2 Mischievous, long-haired cats - Moxxi and Azura
And 1.0 incredible, loving husband.

Re: Minor to some, but irritating to me.
Happens all the time, newbies mistaking boas for pythons etc. They simply don't know.
What irritates me more is how the make a huge deal about this on the news, like just to ridicule snakes, as if it was the snake's fault for have insecure caging. I'm not even sure I believe that the snake went and attacked the child, sounds fishy.
I had guests over a few days ago, and since I showed them my snakes we were discussing them, and she actually liked it-but she didn't like the idea of pet large snakes, and she referred to this story. That got me even more upset at this news story. Just gets people to hate snakes even more.
