    Cooling???

Just curious when some of you guys and gals start cooling if you do at all. I didn't cool last year and only had one female take so I Figured I would try it this time around. Thanks.

    Re: Cooling???

Last year was my first time breeding and i did cool the 2 snakes i was planning on putting together. I ended up with a healthy clutch of 8 eggs of 100% het albinos all of which hatched with no problems. This year i plan on cooling again with all 3 pairs i have going this time around.

I don't drop temps anymore. I normally start pairing in November but this year I have already started (and have gotten locks).

    Agreed.
No need to cool- the natural light cycle will have the snake cool themselves. I leave a hot spot of 90 & my room temp around 80. Set this way, you will see the females cool them selves by going to the cool side of their enclosures. Once I feel follicles & start cycling the breeding pairs.
