The age and size you sell depends on what people want to buy from you.

And you will be run over with rats at a 1.3 in no time at all. I would have 2 x 90-115 qt tubs set up on the side for grow ups, since it will take 1.5-2 months for the asf's to grow to a medium size.

The earliest they are sexually mature is around 2 months of age. However, that does not mean they will get pregnant right away, and seems to happen more in their 3-4 month of age.

they take a long time to grow! and if the females don't breed they do not get that large at all seems like they double in size once they have a litter or two.

Amen to them taking a long time to grow! I have a 1.3 and a 1.4 and while I get a lot of babies they take a good two months to grow up to a decent feeding size if you are feeding adult BPs.
