How to go about full cleaning big pvc cages
So, I have a 4x2x18 tank in the upstairs of my house, using coconut fiber bedding, it wont be a little while until I have to do a full clean, but how do you guys go about doing yours?

I know how to sanitize all my decor and such, but the actual cage? Not entirely as I've read a couple mixed opinions and it's actually a little difficult to find what I'm looking for exactly.

So the main question I'm asking is, how do I sanitize the insides of an immobile cage?

At the nature center I volunteer at all their large cages are lifted by two people and carted to a cleaning room and cleaned by two people, but I'm just one person, its upstairs, and I don't have a convenient trolly that can do stairs :P

With a setup like that you'll be spot-cleaning substrate and washing any décor as needed.

For a full clean and sanitize, I would remove all of the décor, then use a small sturdy plastic shovel to remove the substrate and put it in a plastic tub. Wipe out any remaining substrate with damp paper towels.

Spray the interior well with F10SC, wipe it out, spray it again lightly with F10SC, then replace the substrate, décor, and snake.

I just scoop out all the substrate once a month and throw it into plastic garbage bags. Then vacuum out whats left. Then remove the shelf and spray the whole cage including ceiling with F10SC. Let it soak for about 15 mins, then wipe it out. Then I usually spray the hides down with F10SC and wash them off.
