Right now, with the heater on in my house, her warm side is sitting at 91f and her cool side is 78f. I'll try lowing the temp and see. Thanks for the reply. It never crossed my mind that my temp gun could be off. Hopefully this will help her.

I hope so too. It's just another guess- too bad they can't talk & say what's bugging them, eh?

I’m not entirely sure what the problem is, your temps and setup sound good to me. The only thing is your humidity is way too high. 70-80% humidity it what it is for my ball when he’s shedding and he’s never had problems or stuck shed. I live in a really humid place, so his cadge is usually at about 50-55% humidity and I almost never mist if he’s not in shed.

It might be worth calibrating your thermometer to check if its out.
They have to do that in catering here.
Get boiling water and crushed Ice. The boiling water should be 100 degrees centigrade and the Ice zero centigrade.
If you use Fahrenheit just convert it

I haven’t read all through the thread sorry
    !

Out of the ordinary soaking and given your humidity is high ... suggests one of two things .

Either it’s got mites or it’s far too warm in there ..

I’d get it out and wipe it up and down with some white kitchen roll /paper .

Any mites will show as tiny black specks .

Try crushing them on the paper with your fingernail or the back of a teaspoon .. if it’s mites there will be tiny specks of blood ...
