    How do you determine Yellowbelly?
Visually of course. I've always been informed to look for marble/shattered pattern where the belly color meets the colors on the snakes sides.

Is there a head stamp to look for?

My Banana Enchi Yellowbelly is posted below. Is there anyway to determine this without knowing the parents?

here's a helpful, basic primer on YB: https://ball-pythons.net/forums/show...87-Yellowbelly and yes, they often have a head stamp - 3 marks in the shape of a triangle. however YB can be tricky to ID as other genes can mask/reduce their most prominent features.

do u know what the parents were? IMO there's an enhancer gene in your Banana Enchi combo as it is still very bright in it's big, mature adult age and size. i'm not sure if it's YB tho but more pix of the animal would help. head, body from the top, etc.

No, unfortunately I do not know the parents.

I'll get some some more pics tonight and throw them up. Thanks.

It's easy in an hatchling banana yb in an animal that size it's gonna be a lot more difficult especially with poor pictures that do not show the whole snake from different angle.

But if you bought from a reputable breeder it should not be an issue or something you should question.
